“We went to Minneriya National Park and saw at least 20 to 30 elephants, we also saw water buffaloes, monkeys, deers, different birds and even an eagle. Guide was very knowledgeable and I could see he was making a real effort to show us as many animals as possible. Guide was a bit late at pick up but then we just got dropped off 20 mins later which was fine, since he was quite a good guide. Park entrance was an extra 11000 on top per person and in cash but we were informed of it the night before so we managed to get some money out. Great experience!”

“We got picked up from our hotel at 7am by our wonderful driver Mathisa (very safe driving), then arrived at Polonawaru at about 9am. A knowledgeable guide Suminda Silva gave us a tour of the archeological museum and main sites. The archeological sites are very large so it was very convenient to have a guide point out the important features and a jeep to drive us between the different ruins. Suminda had great English and could answer all our questions about the site. It is hot and the site is too big to walk. Lunch was very generous buffet, you could choose from a range of different local curries, salads…”

“We were notified the evening before our trip that a change of location to Huluru Eco Park would be the best place to see more elephants which we agreed to.
